What you get: Just like in the original Style Analysis, you’ll receive a comprehensive report including your style type, how I arrived at your type, and guidance on the clothes, makeup, and hairstyles that will allow you to look your most harmonious.

The important addition is that in the Style and In-depth Makeup Analysis, you’ll also receive the types of each of your individual facial features. For example, if you’re an Ethereal Dramatic, your eyes aren’t necessarily both Ethereal and Dramatic. They may be, or they may be only Ethereal or only Dramatic.

Why get an analysis of the types of your individual facial features? I first experimented with the analysis on myself, because I wanted to make my makeup more harmonious. I really liked the results. I’ve also found that many celebrities look most harmonious when they coordinate their makeup with the types of their individual facial features. For example, Emmy Rossum is a Dramatic Gamine Ingenue, but she’s not her best in Gamine eye makeup (e.g., dark matte winged liner). This is because her eyes are only Ingenue, which makes them more harmonious in much softer makeup. To me, despite that she has Gamine in her face, Emmy looks much more harmonious when she avoids heavily Gamine eye looks.

I’ll separately analyze the style types of your eyes, brows, lips, and cheeks (e.g., the features to which we tend to apply makeup). I’ll then provide you with comprehensive advice for doing makeup for each of these specific facial features, as well as for creating overall makeup looks. The price reflects that this is a time-consuming process. Personally it has been invaluable for me to know the specific types of each of my facial features so that I can create the most harmonious makeup looks possible.

How it works: After you purchase your analysis, email me at whatsmystyletype@gmail.com with “Style and Makeup Analysis” in the subject line. Please send at least one well-lit, straight on photo of your face. Additional guidelines for the photo:

  • Try to have the photo be as straight on as possible—not taken from either side of your face or from significantly above or below you

  • Ideally your hair will not be covering any part of your face

  • You can send one photo or multiple photos, and you can be either smiling or have a neutral expression. If possible, you may want to send at least one photo with a neutral expression, as smiling can sometimes alter the shapes of our facial features and so can make it take a little longer to understand the true shapes of your face

After sending your photo, you will receive your style analysis report via email within two weeks.
