Ingenue Style Essence
Ingenue faces embody one of the qualities we most value in others: kindness.

Are Ingenue and Dramatic opposites?
In some ways, the Ingenue essence appears opposite to the Dramatic essence. Dramatic lines are long and sharp, whereas Ingenue lines are short and round. While Dramatics tend to appear low on Agreeableness (a personality trait encompassing qualities such as trustworthiness and altruism), Ingenues appear high on the trait.
If we wanted to be really abstract, we could say that Dramatics and Ingenues visually symbolize a fundamental human struggle of balancing a striving for power (Dramatic) with caring for individual wellbeing (Ingenue).
But you don’t have to view the types in this abstract way. The literal characteristics of the types are more directly observable, as well as recognized by many different theorists. So it probably makes sense to acknowledge that Dramatics typically have faces with straight, elongated lines, whereas Ingenues typically have faces with short, curving lines.
The figurative meanings of the essences’ literal features, however, seem by nature to be more subjective and debatable.
Beauty of Dramatics and Ingenues
Regardless, both types, despite their opposite literal features, embody great beauty. Dramatics have striking modelesque bone structure that’s heavily admired, and the small curves of Ingenue features are widely considered pretty and aesthetically pleasing.
Most importantly, personality isn’t equivalent to appearance. Highly Dramatic people who appear intimidating may be internally kind, while highly Ingenue people who appear sweet may have disagreeable personalities.
Ingenue fashion
Like all the types, Ingenues are harmonious in fashion that mirrors their features. So Ingenues are flattered by shortening in their clothing, such as short sleeves and short skirts, as well as rounded shapes. Puff sleeves, short skirts with volume, and other small rounded details in collars, hems, and embellishments are flattering for Ingenues.
One of the subtraits of the personality trait Agreeablness is modesty, or humbleness. Ingenue clothes will generally not be highly revealing or overly attention-grabbing. Ingenue clothes can have a fair amount of detail, but these details will tend to be relatively small, such as in delicate bows or lace.
Gentleness can be considered another subtrait of Agreeeableness, and Ingenues are often harmonious in gentle colors and soft but not highly luxurious fabrics.
If you have the Ingenue style essence and want to embody something distinct from sweetness and kindness, you’ll likely be able to emphasize your other essences. I’ve never encountered a pure Ingenue type. They may exist, but something about the nature of human faces and bone structure seems to make it unlikely for a face to be characterized only by small circular shapes.
If more people acted the way Ingenues look, the world would be a better place.
